Despite cosmetic flaws, these devices function perfectly and provide excellent value. They are backed by a 6-month warranty, and their battery health typically ranges from 80% to 85% of the original capacity.

Grade C

C-Grade device, displaying noticeable wear and tear, with significant scratching on the screen and visible dents around the edges. Face ID functionality might be disabled. However, these devices remain fully operational and represent excellent value for money. They are covered by a 6-month warranty and typically maintain 80% to 85% of their original battery health.

Brand New

This is a brand new, open box device in spotless condition with no scratches or signs of wear. It comes with all original accessories and includes a manufacturer warranty. The device offers 100% battery health and is backed by a 24-month warranty. Although the packaging may be open, the device remains in pristine, like-new condition.

Roobotech Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy

At Roobotech, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and a smooth shopping experience, both in-store and online. To ensure customer satisfaction and transparency, we have outlined a clear return, refund, and warranty policy.

Customers who make purchases online are entitled to a 14-day return period, which begins on the day the order is received. This allows online buyers to inspect the product and request a return if they are unsatisfied for any reason. For purchases made in-store, a 7-day return period applies from the date of purchase. These timelines are designed to give customers sufficient time to evaluate their products and make return decisions if necessary.

To qualify for a return, the product must be in the exact condition in which it was received. This means it must be unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging along with all included accessories. The product must not show any signs of wear, personalisation, or tampering. A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required in every case. Products returned without original packaging or accessories, or those with visible signs of use or damage, will not be accepted under the return policy.

To initiate a return, customers must first contact our support team via email at info@roobotech.com.au. Once the return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label along with detailed instructions on how to send the item back. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the return is packed securely and sent to the correct return address: Roobotech Returns, 188E Barkly Street, St Kilda VIC 3182. Items sent back without prior authorisation will not be processed or accepted, and may be returned to the sender.

Upon receiving the returned item, our team will inspect the product to confirm its condition and eligibility. If the return is approved, we will proceed with a refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically take up to 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on the financial institution. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, we encourage you to contact us at info@roobotech.com.au for further assistance.

We strongly advise all customers to thoroughly inspect their order upon arrival. If an item is received damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us immediately—ideally within 48 hours of delivery—so we can assess the situation and arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund as necessary. Photographic evidence and a clear description of the issue may be required to support your claim.

Please note that certain items are non-returnable under any circumstances. These include brand new sealed-box devices if the original seal has been broken, used accessories with opened packaging, custom-made or personalised products, water-damaged phones, and any devices that have been misused. We also do not accept returns on Grade B or Grade C devices, or any devices that are more than two years old from their original release date. Additionally, we cannot offer returns or refunds on sale items or gift cards.

For those interested in exchanging a product, the quickest and most reliable process is to return the original item (subject to approval) and place a new order for the desired replacement. Once the original return is processed, a refund will be issued, and the customer can proceed with the new purchase independently.

We also honour the 14-day cooling-off period for online orders, as provided under Australian Consumer Law. This entitles you to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without needing to justify the decision. To qualify for cancellation under this provision, the item must be in its original, unused condition, with all packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase included.

In support of our commitment to customer satisfaction, Roobotech offers a 14-day free change-of-mind return policy for select product categories. This policy allows customers who simply change their mind to return eligible devices within 14 days of purchase. However, this policy is limited to products classified as ‘A Grade’, ‘Like New’, and ‘Open Box’. Products sold as ‘B Grade’, ‘C Grade’, or those released more than two years ago are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Returned devices must be in perfect condition—free from any physical or water damage and without any sign of misuse. Additionally, all personal data must be fully erased, and any associated user accounts (such as iCloud, Google, or Samsung accounts) must be completely removed prior to return. Devices that do not meet these criteria will be returned to the customer and no refund will be issued.

Refunds for returned purchases are subject to restocking fees depending on the payment method used. Purchases made through Latitude Pay, Zip Pay, PayPal, or Credit Card will incur a 7% restocking fee. For transactions completed using AfterPay, a 10% restocking fee applies, even in the case of change-of-mind returns. Only cash payments are eligible for full refunds with no restocking fee.

Regarding warranties, all eligible Roobotech products are covered for manufacturing faults and hardware issues under standard warranty terms. Devices must be returned in original condition, with no signs of external damage, liquid exposure, or improper use. Products that show signs of misuse, tampering, or unauthorised repairs will not be covered. Please ensure all personal accounts and security locks are removed before returning a device under warranty. Failure to do so will void warranty eligibility.

Batteries are considered consumable, wear-and-tear components and are not covered under our standard warranty. However, to ensure peace of mind, we offer a 30-day battery replacement warranty from the date of purchase. If the battery fails during this period, we will replace it at no cost.

If a device covered under warranty is found to be defective and cannot be repaired within a reasonable timeframe (usually 15 business days), we will provide the customer with a replacement device or issue a store credit. In cases where repair or replacement is not possible, Roobotech will ensure an alternative resolution is provided that aligns with our customer service standards.
